particular expertise and regional specialisation

our research activities are generally not regionally restricted but nonetheless have a focus in three areas where we have particular expertise:

• switzerland
• south west germany
• prussia

when we begin researching an inheritance case or historical relationships created by marriage and descent, we can’t be certain in which region the findings will lead us. we therefore work with an extensive network of correspondents whose quality we can rely on.

manuel aicher's long-standing scientific work allows us to offer an analysis on a meta-level: we are in a position to analyse fundamental structures of genealogical problems, regardless of regional peculiarities and to propose solutions how to solve obstacles. we are decidedly not only regional specialists (for the indicated regions), but also generalists and all-rounders!
